  • Candidates must have relevant Mortgage Underwriting experience and will work within the company's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • The company offers a base salary dependent on experience, along with 25 days of holiday and a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Our client a well established local business based in Peterborough is looking to recruit several Mortgage Underwriters/specialists on fulltime permanent basis due to company growth.Working as part of an established team you will atke over mortgage applications after the intial work is done and then see them through to completion.

Job role:-

  • Underwriting cases and considering the customer needs
  • Assessing loan documentation, requesting additional information and chasing information from third parties
  • Carrying out checks and assessing loan suitability
  • Managing a pipeline of mortgage applications
  • Working within company risk appetite, policy and criteria
  • Liaising with a variety of third parties including solicitors and valuers
  • Overseeing cases through to offer and completion
  • Adhering to internal underwriting policy and regulatory requirements including FCA. Money Laundering, Data Protection

To be considered for this role you will have relevant Mortgage Underwriting experience.

The company offer a base salary dependent on experience. 25 days holiday and Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm.
