Job Specification: Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Engineer (South Wales) A growing and ambitious company is seeking a skilled Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding team in South Wales. This mobile role involves servicing multiple sites across South Wales, from Carmarthen to Cardiff, with occasional travel to Gloucester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of commercial Split/VRV/VRF air conditioning systems, heat pumps, commercial refrigeration, and chilled water systems.
  • Completion of service reports, on-site documentation, and FGAS paperwork.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
Skills and Experience Required:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
  • Category 1 FGAS Safe Handling of Refrigerants Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong decision-making skills on-site.
  • Proven experience in both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as service and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedicated, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high-quality customer service.
