Job Title: Project Manager/Site Supervisor Sector: Social Housing Location: Swansea, Neath, and Port Talbot Contract: 6 Months Temporary Contract Hourly Rate: £24.88 - £31.39  Start Date: ASAP SummaryWe are currently working with a housing association in Swansea who are ideally looking for someone who has a mechanical and electrical background and can oversee their large asset programme.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing a large solar installation programme in 400 properties (PV and SolShare).
  2. Also overseeing a large sprinkler programme in 5 schemes in small and large apartment blocks.
  3. Project managing and liaising with contractors and doing regular site visits.
  4. Updating forms and data on the system.
  5. Post inspecting all work on completion and making sure it has been carried out to current regulations.
  6. Assessing contractor performance and working to KPI’s.
  7. Attending meetings with management to discuss progress and performance.
  8. Report writing.
Role Specifications:
  • Experienced Mechanical and Electrical professional or working in a similar role ideally in social housing
  • Good understanding of general building knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and an ability to put this into practice.
  • Experience of overseeing contractors and managing works on site.
  Additional Information:
  • Equipment will be provided
  • Mileage expenses covered around sites
  • Must be available immediately or within 1 weeks’ notice
  • Must have full driver’s license and own car
