The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting a Service Engineer / Fitter to join our clients team based in the Swansea area.

Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Salary: 35,000p.a (plus overtime)

Contract: Permanent

Summary: As a Service Engineer/Fitter, you will be required to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair & service our clients full line of equipment including directional drills and trenchers.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair
  • Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts used.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.


Experience:

  • Ideally someone who has experience with engineering, industrial machinery, engines and is skilled in fitting and welding.
  • Minimum 3 years experience covering a mixture of Workshop and Site work
  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer/Fitter or in a similar role.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
