About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 MSK Podiatrist to join our team on a locum basis in Swansea. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in providing expert podiatric care to patients within a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. The position is ideal for a podiatrist with experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) services looking to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced clinical support and expert advice to patients requiring musculoskeletal podiatry care.

  • Work closely with consultants, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care.

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of MSK conditions affecting the foot and lower limb.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including exercise programs and orthotic interventions.

  • Contribute to clinical decision-making regarding MSK treatment plans and rehabilitation.

  • Support the training and development of junior podiatrists and other healthcare staff as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential Experience: Previous experience working in musculoskeletal podiatry services is required.

  • Qualifications: Registered as a podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Skills: Strong clinical knowledge in MSK podiatry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
