Key Responsibilities as the Process Engineer:

  • Providing support for the manufacturing function to resolve any process concerns or issues
  • Collaborating with the wider team to help achieve planned KPIs and outputs.
  • Gathering data and developing mechanisms for effective data capture to enable monitoring and analysing
  • Developing robust process documentation to help standardise practices and reduce risk.
  • Investigation of process and manufacturing issues to identify root cause.
  • Development and implementation of process improvement activities
  • Supporting new product introduction
  • Coordinating with the maintenance team for resolution of equipment issues.

What you need to apply

  • Experience in a process, production, or manufacturing engineering role in a manufacturing environment
  • A technical or engineering qualification (HNC or above) in a field such as mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, metallurgy, material science, etc. is desirable.
  • Experience of gathering data, analysing data, and standardising processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Lan and CI tools such as RCA, Kaizen, SPC, 5WHYs, etc.

Your package

You will receive a salary of £37,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience), pension and 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays.

Your working hours

Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm; Fridays, 8 am - 2:30 pm.
