Job Title: Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Input and manage valve data in the Valve Management System (VMS).
  • Overhaul, QA, and ensure timely delivery of valves per customer requirements.
  • Provide on-site support when needed.
  • Maintain company quality standards for customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct risk assessments in line with quality, H&S, and environmental policies.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure targets are met.
  • Coordinate production planning and resource allocation.
  • Conduct team briefings, drive performance, and provide feedback.
  • Uphold ISO9001 quality and Health & Safety standards.
  • Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
  • Encourage a high-performance culture and process improvements.
  • Support engineering changes, production trials, and model changes.
  • Report and act on machinery breakdowns and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure adherence to internal delivery processes and customer concerns resolution.
  • Verify workshop team timesheets for accuracy.

  • IOSH/NEBOSH certification (Desirable).
  • Experience in the valve industry (Desirable).
  • Proven experience supervising a team of mechanical fitters (Essential).
  • Strong background in process improvement and problem-solving (Essential).
