The role:

  • Lead department trading, aligning forecasts with business plans
  • Assess channel performance and optimize stock
  • Manage inventory, communicate KPIs to senior management
  • Partner with Buying team on strategy, risks, and opportunities
  • Oversee OTB process to meet KPIs
  • Utilize brand positioning and market analysis for strategy
  • Conduct store and competitor reviews
  • Coach team and set objectives
  • Lead, delegate, and mentor effectively

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical mindset with planning/forecasting tool experience
  • Clear communication across diverse audiences
  • Autonomous thinking and creativity
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Logical analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Coach and train team, helping them to achieve skills and knowledge to be more effective.
  • Regularly reviews team progress and sets key objectives.
  • Feels confident leading a team and can delegate tasks.
  • Leads by example and shows a desire to mentor
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience in using planning and forecasting tools and systems.
  • Good communicator, able to convey messages clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Can work autonomously and think "outside the box"
  • Organisational skills; able to organise, prioritise, and manage time
  • Demonstrated logical analysis and problem-solving skills.
