  • The role requires three days of on-site work in South Wales, with the remaining two days being remote, and ideally, candidates should be degree qualified.
  • The position is a contract role outside IR35, with a salary of £500-£600 per day, and candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Our client is a major utilities contractor delivering a major transmission substation renewal scheme in South Wales. Work begins in earnest in the new year and they have instructed Milford RES to source an established senior QS to oversee the commercial elements of the works.

The successful applicant will be acting in a senior role, working closely with national grid and overseeing a substantial project delivery team. You will also be responsible for working with supply chain and design teams to execute project milestones, to programme and budget.

To apply for this role you must meet the following criteria:

  • Experienced senior quantity surveyor with extensive experience
  • Experience working on National Grid schemes would be highly beneficial
  • Experience working in the power industry is essential
  • Applicants must have available to work in South Wales three days per week (Working from home the remaining two days per week)
  • Ideally you will be degree qualified in quantity surveying
  • Applicants must be autonomous, professional and comfortable dealing with senior industry stakeholders
  • You must be based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UK

Ideally applicants will already be based in South Wales. We are happy to consider applicants who will lodge full time in South Wales but please note the quoted rate is inclusive of all expenses.
