ALN Education Recruitment Consultant

Office based – SA1 8AS

£26,000 - £38,000 + uncapped commission

This role is fully office based, Monday to Friday, therefore right-to-work in the UK is a requirement.

Working hours:

Term time: 7:30 – 4:30/5:30

School holidays: Reduced hours, 8:30-3:30pm approx.

The role of an ALN Recruitment Consultant:

  • Sales/business development with new and existing clients to win business from schools
  • Working with clients, identifying their needs and requirements to fill their vacancies
  • Attending client meetings, school visits, recruitment fairs and expos
  • Searching for candidates through various tools, such as advertising, cv searching, referrals and utilising the CRM
  • Shortlisting CVs, contacting educators and interviewing face to face to build a pipeline of candidates
  • Supporting schools with educators on a temporary and permanent basis
  • Assisting schools with emergency cover on a daily basis, filling bookings quickly
  • Maintain regular contact with your candidates and clients, building excellent lasting relationships
  • Collaborate with Resourcers and compliance team to ensure candidates are fully cleared for work
  • Maintain up to date industry knowledge
  • Reviewing your performance to continually improve

You will need to have a genuine and sincere understating & care for the ALN education sector. As well as this, you will need to be adaptable, as no two days in recruitment are the same. The industry itself is exciting, fast-paced, and requires somebody with a lot of resilience, enthusiasm, and energy.

Key skills required:

  • Previous sales experience or having worked in a target and KPI focused role
  • Experience working with ALN individuals, professionally or personally

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Ability to build relationships
