Accredited Police Station Representative : South Wales (Swansea)

TSR Legal have a new opportunity to join a reputable law firm as an Accredited Police Station Representative. This pivotal role offers the chance to provide indispensable support and advice to clients during one of their most vulnerable times, directly at the police station.

Role:As an Accredited Police Station Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients in custody. Your role will involve attending police stations, often outside of conventional working hours, to offer expert legal advice, ensure fair treatment, and prepare clients for interviews. You will be instrumental in protecting clients' rights and providing immediate legal assistance.Skills & Experience:- Accreditation under the Police Station Representatives Accreditation Scheme (PSRAS) is essential.- Proven experience in criminal defence work, demonstrating a robust understanding of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of client care and legal ethics.
