TeacherActive is proud to be working with several ALN schools across Swansea, supporting with their recruitment for ALN Learning Support Assistants / LSA's. The setting is centred on pupil’s
development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.
The school is seeking an engaged and driven team player to take on both short-term and long term roles. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill
set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with students across all KeyStages with diagnosis of Autism/ ASD, SLD/ Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to
take control of situations confidently is necessary.
The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant / ALN LSA will have:
•Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
•Experienceworking with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
•Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent
•Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable. In return for the above you can expect to receive:
