This organisation has numerous homes across Swansea and surrounding areas, providing a safe space for children and young people to learn new skills and become more independent. You will become part of a team that delivers a person-centred approach and creates a safe and stimulating environment where everyone can achieve their potential.Your new role:

This role will consist of supporting children and young people from ages 8-18. You will be involved in the daily living of the individuals, providing person-centred care and promoting independence when necessary. A large part of the role is providing individuals with access to the community to participate in leisure activities, such as trips to the beach, going to the cinema or bowling. In this role, you have a real chance to have a positive impact on people’s lives and improving your standard of living. Shift patterns will consist of long days and sleep in shifts.

What you will need to succeed:

You must hold at least 6 months experience of working in the social care sector, supporting vulnerable individuals, and you must also hold a full UK drivers’ licence to be considered. Full training will be provided for this role. Through this, you will be supported to gain qualifications and experience that will assist you in developing a career in social care.
