Key Responsibilities as the Purchasing Manager:
- Manage, coach, and develop the purchasing team to enhance their skills and strategic focus.
- Implement procurement processes for supplier selection, assessment, management, and validation.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Negotiate and manage contracts to optimise cost, quality, and delivery terms.
- Develop the ERP system to improve business performance and reporting functions.
- Communicate market changes and potential supply impacts to the business.
What You Need to Apply:
- Proven experience in leading and developing purchasing/procurement teams.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and their application in driving business improvements.
- Strategic purchasing experience, including supplier assessment, validation, cost reduction, and new supplier selection.
Your Package:
- Competitive salary of £42,000-£50,000 (dependent on experience)

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Your Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8 am-4:30 pm, Fridays: 8 am-2:30 pm
