Key Responsibilities as the Purchasing Manager:

  • Manage, coach, and develop the purchasing team to enhance their skills and strategic focus.
  • Implement procurement processes for supplier selection, assessment, management, and validation.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to optimise cost, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Develop the ERP system to improve business performance and reporting functions.
  • Communicate market changes and potential supply impacts to the business.

What You Need to Apply:

  • Proven experience in leading and developing purchasing/procurement teams.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and their application in driving business improvements.
  • Strategic purchasing experience, including supplier assessment, validation, cost reduction, and new supplier selection.

Your Package:

  • Competitive salary of £42,000-£50,000 (dependent on experience)
