We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team at our factory in Fforestfach. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality wooden components and joinery products, working from technical drawings and specifications. You will work with a range of materials, ensuring precision and attention to detail to meet both client and company standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components for bespoke joinery projects
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and client requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, with a strong background in woodworking
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience working with a variety of wood and joinery techniques
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
