Finance Administrator

Location: Swindon with ability to travel to other Swindon sites
Hours: 08.00 16.00 Mon - Thur / 08.00 15.30 Fri
Dress Code: Smart-casual attire during half terms; smart-business attire during term time
Contract: Temporary until June (with potential for extension based on business needs)
Rate: £13 - £15/hr dependant on experience
This role offers a hybrid working model (2/3 days in-office when up to speed)

About the Role:
A dynamic and motivated individual is sought for the position of Finance Administrator.
This role requires a hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running.
The selected candidate will oversee the processing of orders and invoices, manage cheque and BACS payments, and provide routine financial administration support to the Financial Planning and Operations Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process orders and invoices efficiently.
- Oversee BACS payments for authorisation.
- Support all aspects of routine financial administration.
- Travel to sites as needed for collections (must be able to drive and claim expenses).

Requirements:
- AAT qualification minimum.
- Proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Office package, including Outlook and Teams.
- General knowledge of finance office functions, particularly in Accounts Payable (e.g., credit card/charge card reconciliation, petty cash processing, income processing to banks).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal interactions.

Experience:
- Excellent IT skills.
- Highly accurate with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
