Your new roleHays Senior Finance are seeking a permanent Financial Controller to join a Swindon-based private equity backed business at a time of organisational change. This is an interesting role for someone with managerial and financial accounting experience, taking the step-up to a Controller position. Reporting to the #2 in Finance, you'll be managing the production of the annual accounts, tax strategy and compliance, cash flow reporting, and running the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management functions (7 FTE, 1 qualified). This role will have significant autonomy and involves continuous interaction with key internal and external stakeholders in the business, including working with the CFO and managing weekly Board cash flow reporting.What you'll need to succeedYou'll need to be a fully qualified accountant with proven experience leading a team of accountants at different stages of their careers (non, part, and fully qualified) with their individual nuances and strengths. You'll also need to have significant expertise in cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, ideally in a large company. Private equity backed experience is not essential. You'll also need to be based within a commutable distance of Swindon, where this role is based 3 days per week.Systems wise, you'll need to have excellent skills with Microsoft Excel, and any experience using Sage or SAP would be beneficial.What you'll get in return
