iRecruit4 are currently recruiting for Financial Controller, to join our client who are a dynamic and growing company committed to excellence and operational efficiency.

As our client is continuing to scale, we are looking for a
Financial Controller to join their leadership team. The Financial Controller will be pivotal in overseeing the accuracy and integrity of the companys financial operations and contributing to strategic decision-making at the highest level.

We are seeking a proactive individual who excels in working independently while also being an enthusiastic and collaborative team player. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high standards across all aspects of their role. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, enabling the candidate to build and maintain professional relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring smooth and efficient management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

Reporting & Analysis:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements, providing insights into business performance.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections to guide business decisions.

Compliance & Controls:
Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage the companys cash flow, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring financial stability.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with department heads and business leaders, offering strategic financial advice to help drive operational efficiency and decision-making.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance:
Oversee the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and timely submission.

External Relationships:
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional stakeholders to ensure smooth audits and maintain strong working relationships.

Proven Experience:
Extensive experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar finance role, with a strong track record in financial management, accounting, and reporting.

Sage50 Expertise:
Hands-on experience with Sage50 or similar accounting software is essential.

Educational Background:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fi eld, or a relevant professional qualifi cation (e.g., ACCA, CIMA), or equivalent experience is preferred.

Analytical Skills:
Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to interpret complex financial data.

Strong Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proactive & Results-Driven:
A self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to drive results independently.
