We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to drive our financial strategy and contribute significantly to our overall success. This role is a crucial part of our finance management team and offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior executives including the CFO and CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial duties including the production of periodic financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and managing the finance team.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage the global finance team, including three finance managers and two accounting team managers (plus 9Â indirect reports)
- Oversee the Accounts Payable function
- Oversee financial governance, policy development, and deployment.
- Manage external advisors for local tax submissions and act as the main contact for global auditors.
- Handle deferred revenue calculations, monthly group consolidation, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Own global balance sheet reconciliations and risk & opportunities assessments.
- Report on global overheads and cover payroll.
- Coordinate with the Head of FP&A for accurate business forecasting and risk mitigation.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of suppliers and control expenses in line with the budget.
- Execute transfer pricing policy.
- Proven experience managing and developing a finance team in a global business setting.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented with extensive modelling experience and expert-level skills in Excel.
- ACCA / CIMA qualification is strongly preferred.
- Managed transfer pricing and tax in businesses with multiple global entities.
