My client is looking for a skilled Head of Finance to join their team.
They are an organisation of approximately 700.
The reason for this role is growth within the business.
They are expanding their finance department at the moment and getting firmer structures in place in accordance with the scale of their growth.

You will be looking after 6 direct reports.
You will key in implementing robust structures that will support the growing size of the organisation.

Responsibilities:
Managing Financial resources
Providing leadership
Ensure the provision of financial reporting
Best Practise implemented and observed
Compliance within DfE and ESFA guidelines
Financial Systems fit for purpose
Financial statements
Budget preparation
Income Generation
Financial monitoring (Payroll, Pensions)
Auditing internally and externally

Experience:
Experience as either head of finance, or finance director, or senior finance position.
Leadership skills.
You should have experience with public finance and associated procedures and regulations.
Worked with Financial management, financial reporting, compliance standards, Budget preparation, Income Generation, Financial Monitoring - Payroll, Pension, Quality Audits.
Worked with computerised data systems, handling large complex data.
Fantastic problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong Interpersonal Skills.

Desirable:
Multi Site organisation experience.
ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) familiarity.
Education sector experience highly desirable.
safeguarding knowledge (KCSIE).
CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
