Our client are seeking an accomplished Head of Finance to lead their financial operations and strategy. This senior role is key to overseeing the month-end close process, driving budgeting and forecasting, and delivering crucial financial insights to the executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for year-end accounts, coordinating with auditors, and ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the month-end close process and oversee year-end financial accounts.
- Develop and guide the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and provide commercial financial support.
- Enhance cash flow management and oversee debt level strategies.
- Analyse financial performance, deliver reports, and offer actionable insights.
- Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in finance operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with over 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience: Strong background in Excel and accounting software, proven audit and tax experience, and a history of leading financial reporting.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
