Interim Financial Controller

Your new roleHays Senior Finance are seeking an Interim Financial Controller to support a Swindon-based private equity backed business for a period of 3 to 6 months. This role will primarily focus on delivering the 12-week rolling cash flow and management of a team of 7 accountants covering accounts payable, accounts 12-week, cash and banking. There may also be ad-hoc financial reporting, tax compliance and ad-hoc projects in this role.What you'll need to succeedYou'll need to be a fully qualified accountant with proven experience leading a team of accountants at different stages of their careers (non, part, and fully qualified) with their individual nuances and strengths. You'll also need to have significant expertise in cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, ideally in a large company. Private equity backed experience is not essential. You'll also need to be based within a commutable distance of Swindon, where this role is based 3 days per week.What you'll get in return

• Competitive day rate or full-time equivalent salary of £65,000.
• Hybrid working with the ability to work from home 2 days per week.
