Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for a Tax Senior in the SN1 area to assist in delivering corporate, personal tax, and payroll services. The role will focus on overseeing tax compliance and reviewing teamwork, with some processing tasks required. There are great opportunities for career progression.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee tax compliance work: corporation tax, personal, trust, and partnership tax, payroll.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, business tax computations, and payroll.
  • Take lead on tax assignments and assist the team.
  • Supervise and review junior team members' work.
  • Communicate effectively with clients.
  • Assist with ad-hoc project work for Managers and Partners.

The right candidate:

  • CTA qualified or part-qualified with 3+ years of senior practice experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, and payroll.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with bookkeeping software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Familiarity with CCH, BrightPay, and MyWorkPapers is a plus.
