Have you got experience as a Trainee Accountant in a chartered accountancy practice and are now ready to take on your next step but no opportunity to do so where you are currently?
Well, our super friendly and people focussed client has a role for you and they are ready for you to join them as their new Accounts Assistant.
This is a newly created role due to growth and you will join a team of people that predominantly have been with the business a long time, testament to how well they are looked after. The leadership team have grown from grass roots up too, and this really could be you. They care about your career progression.
As well as being exposed to a varied portfolio of clients, as their new Accounts Assistant your role with be broad across accounts and tax including:
- preparing and reviewing annual accounts up to trial balance.
- handling and processing business and personal tax returns.
- preparing management accounts for presentation to clients.
- compiling and submitting VAT and CIS returns.
- supporting the development of trainees.
You need to:
- be around Level 4 AAT qualified and comfortable with your debits and credits knowledge.
- have experience working within a chartered accountancy practice.
- bring good communication skills.
- have experience of accounting software and excel.
Awareness of taxes and the associated compliance requirements, to include VAT and CIS would be advantageous to your application.
In return you will get a good salary up to £28,500 per year, your AAT and further studies will be supported. Hybrid working will be offered to you after probation has been completed.
Depending on where you reside, you will be able to be based at offices just outside of Chippenham or in Swindon.
