Robert Half are working in partnership with a renowned, industry leading business in Swindon to recruit an Italian Speaking Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The Italian Speaking Accounts Payable Assistant will play a pivotal role in contributing towards the transactional accounting process, covering various accounts payable tasks by inputting invoices, carrying out reconciliations and building strong relationships with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Italian speaker that has accounts payable experience, that is keen to add value and be a part of a reputable organisation that is known for offering career development. The salary is between £27,000 - £33,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Italian Speaking Accounts Payable Assistant consists of:
- Processing and verifying supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct coding for payment in the financial system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of suppliers, complying with agreed payment terms and company policies.
- Liaising and communicating with suppliers in both Italian and English, addressing inquiries and resolving any invoice-related issues.
- Assist in month-end tasks, including accounts payable related reconciliations and reports.
- Supporting with adhoc administrative duties when required.
Requirements
To be considered for the Italian Speaking Accounts Payable Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/attributes:
- Must be fluent in Italian (both written and spoken).
- Must have a minimum of 12 months experience within accounts payable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good organisation skills.
Salary & Benefits
- £27,000 - £33,000 annual salary
- Hybrid working; 2 days from home, 3 days in the office
