Join a leading company in the gourmet food industry, celebrated for its innovative and eco-friendly packaging solutions. We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to manage customer accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive new sales initiatives.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee and expand sales across independent customers, distributors, and major retailers.
- Manage goods out processes to ensure continuity and excellent customer service, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating with fulfilment providers, couriers, and handling returns.
- Motivate and drive new business through sales operatives and order processing staff.
- Upsell to current customers and ensure new product developments are added and maintained across systems such as Unleashed, brochures, and the website.
- Produce and present monthly sales reports for the department to the commercial director.
- Collaborate with accounts to ensure timely payments from customers.
- Arrange internal stock transfers with hauliers and goods out teams.
- Handle occasional customer complaints, always prioritising the company’s profitability and reputation.
- Proven customer satisfaction, account management, and customer service skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Experience in sales or account management, preferably within the food industry.
- Knowledge of sales systems and software, with a preference for experience in Unleashed or similar platforms.
