Failure Analysis Engineer- 35-45k - Swindon

My Client specialises in sensors and connectivity solutions for various industries, and are now looking for a failure analysis engineer to join their growing team!

Main Duties:

  • Failure Analysis & Evaluation - Assess electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and components to determine failure causes.
  • Corrective Actions & Process Improvement - Analyze failure reports, recommend solutions, and develop methods to enhance failure analysis and reduce defects.
  • Product Returns & Documentation - Conduct product failure analysis, maintain workflow reports, and update process documentation regularly.
  • Process Review & Implementation - Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes, implementing new ones as needed.
  • Technical Expertise - Interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering changes for accurate analysis and troubleshooting.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; works well with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Strong planning, time management, and ethical standards to achieve goals.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

The salary for this position will be circa £35-45k, depending on experience.
