Position: Highway Asset Manager
I am recruiting for an experienced Highway Asset Manager to lead a dynamic team of professionally qualified individuals. This role involves managing asset management services and ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
 
Your Role as Highway Asset Manager:
·Develop, implement, and review strategies, policies, processes, and procedures for all aspects of Asset Management, including Drainage, Street Lighting, Structures, Highway Conditions, and Data and Systems management.
·Work within relevant legislation, statutory duties, and manage reputational risk to the Council.
·Lead the Asset Team to target and plan investments effectively, maximizing the lifespan of our assets as Swindon evolves and grows.
·Ensure fluency in English, as per Part 7 of the Immigration Act, for effective performance in a customer-facing role.
