Accounts Payable Supervisor

Full Time - Permanent

Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5.00pm

Salary is dependent on experience

Outskirts of Swindon

We are currently recruiting for a Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our client based in outskirts of Swindon.

Typical activities

  • Workload management of Accounts Payable Team (inboxes/emails)
  • Daily morning team meeting, feedback to AP Manager on escalations
  • Weekly payment run preparation
  • Weekly deadline management
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation
  • P&L reporting & reconciliation for package departures
  • Leading the team through process and system changes, guided by AP Manager
  • Training plan management & KPIs
  • Supplier relationship management with key suppliers

Skill set required

Essential

  • AAT Qualified
  • Team management experience
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team effectively and display initiative
  • Have a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Strong Accounts payable skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Organised with the ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
