Meridian Business Support are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s largest independent autocentre chains to recruit a Service Centre Manager in Swindon.The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. Experience in management within the motor vehicle sector would be an advantage. Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
  • To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
  • To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
  • To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
  • Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
  • Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
  • Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
  • To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
  • To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
  • The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
  • Liaise with Head Office and other Departments
The role reports directly to the Regional ManagerSalary: Dependent on experienceHours: The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Sunday working with a supplementary payment.  Working hours to be discussed at interviewHoliday: 20 days per year, plus statutory holidays Benefits:
