Purpose of the Role

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing high-quality HR services and professional guidance to employees and management. Your expertise will support the navigation of employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and organisational change, while fostering a positive, supportive, and high-performing work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, absence management, and policy compliance.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and health and wellbeing focus days to boost engagement.
  • Coach managers in employee development, performance management, and conducting appraisals.
  • Oversee payroll production, support pay reviews, and guide HR administration tasks, while assisting with HR projects and acquisitions.

Skills and Experience:

Strong HR Expertise:Extensive experience in HR, including a deep understanding of UK employment law, people management, and apprenticeship programmes

Coaching & Influencing:Ability to coach, challenge, and influence managers, providing strategic advice and recommendations on people-related issues.

Effective Communication & Relationship Building:Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels and foster a positive, people-centric work environment.

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:Skilled in analysing situations, making informed decisions, and generating practical, risk-based solutions.

Organisation & Adaptability:Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and adapt to changing environments.
