CLASS 1 DRIVER

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: AM & PM SHIFTS AVAILABLE

£17.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Driver for our client who is based in Swindon.

Day to Day Duties

• Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicles defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months Class 1 Driving experience on UK roads
• No more than six points and no major endorsement codes
• Hold a valid CPC and Taco card
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Punctual and good time management skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training

• Full training provided
