The role involves operating various Class 1 vehicles, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring cargo is secured properly.

The position offers excellent working hours, ongoing work, and immediate starts with full training provided.

Day to Day Duties

Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Report any vehicles defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
Have a minimum of 12 months Class 1 Driving experience on UK roads
No more than six points and no major endorsement codes
Hold a valid CPC and Taco card
Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Punctual and good time management skills

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
