Class 2 driver

StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for multiple Class 2 driver for a company based in Wootton Bassett.

We are looking for highly motivated qualified Class 2 driver, with handball experience, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation in Wootton Bassett.

Remuneration:

Monday to Friday AM - £19.50

*Please note that the above rates are Assignment rates*

Responsibilities of Class 2 driver in Wootton Bassett:

• This will involve pallet delivery, local deliveries.
• Handballing is involved. Majority palletised and forklifted off. Pump Truck used also.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Communication is key with the client, must be able to contact at all times of day 
• Start times between 05:00 & 07:00 

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

• Cat C UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• 180 days experience in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Great communication skills
• Professional attitude
