Class 2 Driver

Groomfield Recruitmentare looking for3 HGV CLASS 2 DriversinColeshill, West Midlands.

Hourly Rate:13.33 Per Hour

Shift start times:Between (Apply online only)

Position:Temporary to Permanent Opportunity.

Duties:

Drops: 7 - 10 Drops Per Shift.

Handball: Movement of palletised stock is required using pallet pub-truck.

- Local deliveries [ Greater Midlands Region ]

- Safely operate the HGV [Class 2] to transport goods and materials to designated locations

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Load and unload cargo from the truck using appropriate equipment

- Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules

- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and safety

Requirements For HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Valid HGV driver's license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver [No new passes accepted]

- Comfortable with handball movement of palletised goods.

- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road

- Ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading cargo

- Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and following instructions
