Role Overview:
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering beds to residential customers on average 10-15 drops a day. You will be required to build up the beds with the help of a drivers mate.
Your day will start early, and you will work until the job is finished. This role requires a combination of driving, manual labor, and customer interaction.
This is a 10 week temp to perm position to which you will be self employed once you go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company van to transport beds and related equipment.
- Build and dismantle beds at residental properties.
- Load and unload items from the van.
- Ensure all equipment is handled with care and properly secured.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be over 25 years of age due to insurance purposes.
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual and dependable.
