Van Driver

Cotswold Talent Solutions are seeking multiple reliable Delivery Drivers for our client, an prestigious home furnishing company based in West Swindon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from their warehouse to various locations around the UK. This role is a genuine Temporary to Permanent role that offers a Monday to Friday working pattern with training.

Due to the insurance criteria of this customer, candidates must be 25 or over with no more than 6 points on the licence.

Rates of pay and hours:

• 12.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS
• 06.00am start time Monday to Friday

Duties fort this role will include:

• Approx 5 drops per run - All runs have a drivers mate
• Drive company van to deliver goods to customers
• Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
• Assemble goods if required (Training Provided)

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
