An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our award-winning kitchen team. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art kitchen, under the guidance of a renowned Head Chef. Sous Chef Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef, with a background in fine dining or high-end gastropubs
  • A passion for culinary arts and a proven track record in creating innovative menus and exceptional food
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and training a team of junior chefs
  • Thorough knowledge of current food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial, adept at adapting to market trends and enhancing dining experiences

Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring culinary excellence
  • Assist in the development of new, seasonal menus that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity
  • Train and mentor junior chefs, enhancing their skills and culinary knowledge
  • Ensure adherence to stringent food safety standards, complete necessary hygiene documentation, and compile environmental health reports as required
  • Establish and maintain effective collaboration across all team members to ensure seamless service
