Site Agent

Abatec is seeking an experienced, freelance Site Agent to join our client, a multi-faceted, regional civil engineering contractor who is delivering a multi-million-pound, highways project in Swindon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping deliver the scheme, ensuring all safety, technical, and commercial objectives are met, while simultaneously enhancing the reputation of the client.

As Site Agent you will:

• Help manage the engineering resources to ensure technical compliance to the design specifications.
• Provide weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Be responsible for ensuring sufficient and competent resources are in place for the delivery of the project and the project objectives are communicated.
• Evaluate all subcontractors, providing feedback to the Project Manager.
• Be responsible for Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality matters.
• Liaise with site teams responsible for the project being delivered on time and within budget.

Our client requires a Site Agent with:

• HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a similar position on highway schemes
• SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS

Salary/Benefits:

• 350 - 400 CIS
