Are you an experienced Information Manager in Rail Construction?
A Tier One Main Contractor is looking for an Information Manager to work for them on various Rail projects across Swindon and Bristol.
Must have experience in: Projectwise and BIM.
Working a hybrid role (two days a week in either the Swindon office or the Bristol office and three days working from home).
Pay: £60,000 - £65,000.
The Role: As an Information Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management and control of project documentation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate document preparation, revision, distribution, and storage.
- Maintain compliance and liase with the client.
- Leading quality assurance, performing audits to ensure document integrity.
- Tracking document revisions, approvals, and deadlines, and ensuring timely distribution of updated documents.
- Process document control and information management, ensuring compliance with BIM ISO 19650.
- Supporting project teams in retrieving and referencing critical documentation during project lifecycle phases.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Information Manager in Rail Construction.
- Strong knowledge of document control processes, procedures, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in document control software and systems, such as Projectwise and BIM.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in managing and reviewing documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving document control issues.
