Outskirts of Swindon

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our client based on the outskirts of Swindon.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of products, customers and the marketplace
  • Sales of the company’s core products and other BIFG items alongside Bespoke Concrete
  • Maintain quote calendar and diary
  • Maintain and update prospect calendars
  • Review potential NPD by being alert to competitor offerings
  • Attend exhibitors and meet the buyer events to gain industry knowledge and contacts
  • Be aware of expected sales margin for each product
  • Quoting customers and follow up
  • Research job opportunities by sector
  • Support of sales emails and customer contact (folder creation, updates, prep, risk review, finesse, send, change & order
  • Attend pre contract & site meetings
  • Understand ideal customers and how they relate to the products
  • Be aware of competitive activities in relevant market spaces
  • Manage and improve lead generation
  • Review of product gap and new product development needs
  • Develop strong loyal relationships with all relevant decision makers
  • Ensure quotations are within company capability
  • Carry out any other duties as reasonably required

Essential

  • Excellent administrative software skills
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Organised, detail oriented, able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively, independently and within a team

Nice to have

  • Experience in the construction or related industry
  • Experience in sales or customer facing activity
  • Good mathematical approach/competent in Excel
