My client based in Swindon is looking for a Trading Manager to join their dynamic e-commerce retail team. With a focus on high-quality products at accessible prices, we are set to transition from a beloved brand to a household name. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and optimizing the customer experience on our e-commerce platforms.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Own and manage the online Trading calendar
  • Manage product listings, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and availability across e-commerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product backlogs and user stories and monitor inventory levels.
  • Analyse sales data, conversion rates, and customer behaviour to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve margins and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Optimize product placement, pricing, and promotions based on data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate trading activities with promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to benchmark our e-commerce performance.
  • Enhance the online shopping experience by improving navigation, search functionality, and product recommendations.
  • Address customer reviews and feedback promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and present regular reports on sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in e-commerce trading and merchandising.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
