Site Project Engineers - Wastewater Infrastructure

Location: NW Thames Valley Region (Oxford, Chipping Norton, Bourton-on-the-Water to Swindon Road)

Contract: 12 months | Rates Negotiable

We are seeking two experienced Site Project Engineers to work on wastewater infrastructure projects, including interventions at existing sewage treatment works. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of wastewater systems, mechanical and electrical installations, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing site activities, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ordering essential equipment, including pumps and mechanical kit.
  • Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and site plans.
  • Signing off works and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations.
  • Acting as a problem solver on-site, liaising with contractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure seamless project delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in wastewater projects with a strong understanding of sewage treatment works.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within water infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of site activities, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with experience dealing directly with clients and contractors.
  • Competence in preparing technical documentation, site reports, and risk assessments.

This is a 12-month contract with negotiable rates depending on experience.
