Section Engineer / Senior Engineer - Tier 1 Contractor - Major Civils & Rail Framework - (Covering - West London to Bristol)

My client is a top tier Civil Engineering Contractor.

They are presently delivering geotechnical and civils improvement works on a major Rail Framework which spans from West London to Bristol.

They are seeking to employ a Section Engineers and Senior Engineers to assist with the timely delivery of projects in this region.

The engineers will need to have PTS, and ideally rope access.

Previous experience of working on Rail and Civils project experience is essential.

*My client is currently considering applications from those seeking either permanent or contract positions at this time.

Duties include:

  • Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
  • Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
  • Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
  • Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
  • Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
  • Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
  • Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
