The day-to-day responsibilities involve managing and overseeing financial operations, including administration tasks, accounts receivable and payable, credit control, and month-end processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role also requires close coordination with various departments to align invoicing with completed projects, manage financial data in systems like Sage 50, and ensure compliance with financial regulations such as VAT and payroll. Additionally, the role includes driving process improvements, handling customer queries, and supporting the finance director in financial analysis and reporting.
