Role Overview:

My client is a top tier Civil Engineering Contractor.

They are presently delivering a 5+ year framework which involves major geotechnical and civils improvement works on a Rail Framework which spans from West London to Bristol.

They are currently seeking to employ a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to assist with the timely delivery of projects in this region.

The Site Engineer / Senior Engineer will need to have PTS, and ideally rope access.

Previous experience of working on large scale Rail and Civils project experience is essential.

They will also need to be very strong with subcontractors.

Your duties will include:

  • Setting out, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
  • Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
  • Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
  • Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
  • Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
  • Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
  • Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
  • Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
