Salary / Benefits 24k - 35k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a South West based Water Hygiene / Legionella Management company who are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out various L8 compliance duties such as water sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing and flushing of little used outlets across Leisure, Commercial, Educational, and Manufacturing sites. Our client can offer a company vehicle (with personal use) & fuel card, company pension scheme, generous holiday allowance and excellent basic salary. Our client can also offer further training into Legionella Risk Assessing for the successful candidate.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bristol, Chippenham, Devizes, Malbrough, Swindon, Trowbridge, Warminster, Andover, Newbury, Sailsbury, Shaftesbury, Stroud, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Weston-Super-Mare, Minehead, Shepton Mallet, Bridgewater, Ilminster, Barry, Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Caerphilly.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" IT literate, confident in updating onsite logbooks.
" Organising and prioritising workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
" Visiting a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Closed system sampling, analysis & dosing.
" Cleans and descales of showerheads.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed timeframes and HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks correctly upon completion of work.
