Job Role: Applications Engineer (Field-Based)

Location: Field-based role with travel across the UK and Europe as needed.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Including bonus for project completions

A leading CNC machinery company is looking for skilled Applications Engineers to join their team. This field-based role will require travel across the UK and Europe, depending on project needs, and flexibility is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide machine set-up, prove-out, and operator training within your designated region and occasionally across Europe.
  • Deliver expert technical support to customers, dealers, and sales teams, including machine demonstrations and programming assistance.
  • Prepare machining methods and cycle time estimates, ensuring efficiency and optimal performance.
  • Support machine installations at customer sites and company showrooms.
  • Offer remote and on-site troubleshooting, after-sales support, and technical advice.
  • Collaborate with international dealer networks and attend overseas training as necessary.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in an applications engineering or similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of metal cutting processes and machinery operation.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
