Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a local provider of affordable housing and registered social landlord, to appoint an experienced NIC qualified Electrical Supervisor to their busy Property Services team.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Supervising Electrical Work

  • Overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensuring that all electrical work is carried out in compliance with the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and relevant safety standards.
  • Monitoring the quality of workmanship and ensuring adherence to best practices.

2. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensuring all electrical work complies with the latest health and safety regulations, as well as NICEIC standards.
  • Carrying out risk assessments and method statements for electrical installations and ensuring safe working practices.
  • Conducting safety audits and checks on electrical systems to ensure they meet the required safety standards.

3. Quality Control and Inspection

  • Conducting inspections of electrical installations and ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Reviewing and signing off electrical work to ensure it complies with contract specifications, statutory requirements, and NICEIC criteria.
  • Verifying that all testing and certification of electrical work is completed correctly and documented.
